Our Terms

Welcome to Woody's Geekery! These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you use woodysgeekery.com or buy from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Store Policy, and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Using our site

  • Use the site for personal, lawful purposes only.

  • Don't misuse it: no hacking, scraping, spamming, uploading harmful files, or interfering with how it works.

  • Give us accurate information when you order or contact us.

  • We may update, pause, or remove parts of the site at any time.

2. Orders and payment​

  • An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship it (or, for custom and pre-order items, when we confirm it). An order confirmation email is not acceptance.

  • Prices are in US dollars. Applicable sales tax and shipping are added at checkout.

  • Payment is due at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment providers.

  • We may limit quantities, especially on high-demand items and new releases.

3. Pricing errors and stock issues

We work hard to keep prices and stock accurate, but mistakes happen. If an item is priced or listed incorrectly, or turns out to be out of stock, we may cancel the affected order or item and give you a full refund, even after you've received a confirmation. We may also cancel orders for undeliverable addresses or suspected fraud.

4. Products, images, and availability

  • Product photos are for illustration. Packaging, colors, and print runs can differ slightly from what's pictured, and colors depend on your screen.

  • Availability can change at any time, and items may sell out at pop-up events or on our other sales channels before your order is processed.

  • Trading cards and collectibles are sold as described. Condition descriptions are our good-faith assessment.

5. Pre-orders

  • Release dates are set by publishers and can change. Pre-orders ship when we receive the product.

  • If a publisher shorts our allocation, we fill pre-orders in the order they were placed and fully refund anything we can't fill.

  • Cancellation rules for pre-orders (including that TCG pre-orders are final) are in our Store Policy.

6. Handmade and custom items

  • Our 3D-printed deck boxes, laser-engraved wallets, flasks, and keychains, UV-printed canvases, and laser-cut wood card blanks are made in-house. Each piece is a little unique. Variation in wood grain, color, engraving, print layers, and print color is normal and not a defect.

  • Please review proofs carefully. We make custom items as you approve them.

  • When you send us artwork, photos, or text, you confirm you have the right to use it and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. You give us permission to use it to make your order. We may decline any design and refund you.

7. Shipping, returns, and cancellations

Shipping, returns, refunds, damage claims, and cancellations are covered in our Store Policy, which is part of these Terms.

8. Other sales channels

Purchases through TCGplayer, TikTok Shop, or Whatnot are also governed by that platform's terms and buyer policies.

9. Intellectual property

  • The Woody's Geekery name and logo, our original designs, product photos, and site content belong to us. Please don't copy or reuse them without our written permission.

  • Game names, characters, logos, and other trademarks (for example Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, and Disney Lorcana) belong to their respective owners. We are an independent retailer and are not affiliated with or endorsed by them unless we say so.

10. Disclaimers

Except as stated in our Store Policy or required by law, the site and our products are provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee the site will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Manufacturer warranties, if any, come from the manufacturer.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Woody's Geekery is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some states don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

12. Indemnity

If you misuse the site or provide content you don't have the rights to, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from that claim.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina. Before taking any formal action, please contact us first so we can try to work it out.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the site when you place your order applies to that order.
