A legendary storm is rolling in, Trainers! Whether you play at the kitchen table in Clayton, battle at league nights around Raleigh, or collect sealed product here in Johnston County, here’s everything you need to know before release day.

Mega Rayquaza ex Leads the Delta Reign Mega Evolution Lineup
The headliner is the Sky High Pokémon itself. According to the official announcement, Delta Reign marks the first time Mega Rayquaza has appeared in the Pokémon TCG since the XY—Ancient Origins expansion. That alone has longtime collectors excited, but Rayquaza isn’t flying solo. Delta Reign also features three more Mega Evolution Pokémon ex:
Mega Golurk ex
Mega Malamar ex
Mega Golisopod ex
Pokémon.com lists the set at over 135 cards, including more than 20 Trainer cards and over 35 cards with special illustrations, so there’s plenty here for both deck builders and binder fillers.
What Are Legendary Stadiums in Pokémon TCG Delta Reign?
Delta Reign introduces a brand-new feature called Legendary Stadiums. A Legendary Stadium is made by combining two Stadium cards that are played as a pair, and when you place them side by side they form one extended piece of artwork. The best part for pack openers: any booster pack that contains a Legendary Stadium includes both halves you need, so you won’t be hunting for a missing piece.
The set includes six Stadium cards that make up three Legendary Stadiums. We can’t wait to see how players in our area build around them once the full card list is out.

Tips for Clayton and Raleigh-Area Trainers
Decide your goal first. If you want to rip packs and play, booster packs and Elite Trainer Boxes are a great start. If you’re collecting, think about which sealed products you want to keep closed.
Sleeve your big pulls right away. Illustration rares and special illustration rares look best (and hold value best) when they go straight into a sleeve and top loader.
Be patient with launch-week hype. Prices on brand-new sets often swing in the first few weeks, so don’t feel pressured to chase singles on day one.
Try the set digitally. Pokémon TCG Live gets Delta Reign on November 5, which is a handy way to test Mega Rayquaza ex decks before you buy singles.
